T/R Rugged Wrap


	Above and Below Grade Reinforced Coating Overwrap
	T/R Rugged Wrap is a coating overwrap in roll form. Used to strengthen, protect and isolate existing coatings from the detrimental effects of their surrounding environment. Rugged Wrap mesh weave can offer any coating system increased protection from exposure to a wide range of potentially destructive forces such as mechanical damage, abrasion and soil stress both above and below grade. The mesh weave also provides an excellent profile for painting. It can be used to enhance the mechanical strength of all wax coatings systems with operational temperatures ranging from ambient to 350°F and T/R Rugged Wrap will not shield or interfere with cathodic protection systems.
	Composition
	T/R Rugged Wrap is a formulation of plasticizers and resins with a fiberglass mesh carrier that hardens to form a protective outerwrap when activated by moisture. Technical Data Thickness: 30 mils Color: SILVER. Additional colors available upon request. Operating Temperature: Ambient to 350°F Application: 1. Gloves should be worn during application. 2. Active T/R Rugged Wrap by soaking roll in water for 30 seconds. 3. Squeeze excess water from roll and wrap over existing coating using a 50% overlap. Additional overwraps may be made to achieve desired mechanical strength.
